Nearly April

I promised to write in a few days, and those days just disappeared. We have been planning the convention, however. Today, I finished selecting over 30 workshops that will run on Monday and Tuesday just after convention. We have wonderful institutional partners for these workshops--from the Library of Congress to the Holocaust Museum. And of course, we have wonderful teachers who will share their strategies with all of us. Right now I"m selecting poster sessions: we plan to have several of those throughout the convention. And tonight I received the first literary map. It's from Washington DC, and it's a hypertext, so you click on the location, and it pulls up a literary episode or character or text. It's very exciting. So far, we have 25 states and several countries planning to share their maps!
